We at Petland Florida walked to raise money for life-saving science at the 2020 Suncoast Heart Walk on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Our team walked side by side with countless families and friends to help them live longer and happier lives.
Taking place at the JD Hamel Park in Sarasota, FL, the walk helped raise funds for the American Heart Association (ASA), who then invest that money for cardiovascular research and important resources to cure heart disease and stroke. The AHA also continually educates others on cardiovascular health, illness, and treatment.
Since 1924, the American Heart Association has been the largest fighter of heart disease and stroke. Currently, more than 30,000 volunteers and 3,000 employees in the organization have impacted the community in working to make the world free of heart disease and stroke.
We are excited to have been a part of the 2020 Suncoast Heart Walk and their mission to be a force for a healthier world. With our efforts, we know we’ve helped many people celebrate more birthdays, lead fulfilling lives, and be with their families. We can’t wait to walk with this community again next year!
If you like to help the American Heart Association, make sure to donate to their cause. Also, don’t forget to join us in next year’s walk. It’s through your support that we can make a difference around the world!
