On Friday, October 11, 2019, the patients at the Always at Your Side Day Care facility had a paw-sitively incredible time with our friendly puppies during puppy therapy.

Puppy therapy, a form of pet therapy, usually comes in the form of puppy love and kisses. Our puppies gave the patients lots of that special canine love that warms everyone’s hearts. We know how much our puppy therapy visits to the daycare facility help out the patients.

Although it seems like a small act, all forms of pet therapy give patients the security and comfort they need while at the facility. Spending time with puppies can also alleviate any stress and encourage socialization with others. 

The reason for this is simple: puppies give us unconditional love. Our puppies offer us affection and a listening ear without judgment or bias. This bond can help community members forget about what they’re going through, helping them get through whatever struggles they face on a daily basis.

We at Petland place high importance in giving back to our community in every way possible. Whether it’s through community centers, daycares, or colleges, we are ready to help out and enrich the lives of others through our puppies and other pet pals!

We would love to thank the Always at Your Side Day Care facility for having us bring our puppies for an eventful afternoon with their patients! We look forward to bringing our puppies to the daycare to continue boosting our community members.
