On Pines Day, April 27, 2019, The City of Pembroke Pines celebrated its 59th birthday with lots of fun, family-friendly activities!
The party festivities took place on the plaza at the Charles F. Dodge City Center and included a large variety of exciting activities, such as free rides, food, giveaways, raffles, and live music.
In line with its theme “Pembroke Pines is Out of this World,” participants were also able to learn about outer space as well as take part in interactive activities at the two indoor planetariums provided by the Frost Museum of Science and the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium.
Towards the end of the celebration, slices of a yummy 10-foot birthday cake were served to visitors looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.
We are truly honored to have been able to celebrate this beautiful city with friends and residents in such a wonderful way. We love Pembroke Pines and all the city has to offer.
We look forward to the yearly activities the City of Pembroke Pines has in store for us and can’t wait to celebrate their 60th birthday next year!
