The spirit of Easter arrived to Petland on Sunday, April 21, 2019! Petland hosted a fun-filled EasterEgg Paint Blast for children of all ages to participate at all store locations. We were so thrilled to see many children come to take part in decorating a yummy treat for their puppies!

Before the activity each child would receive an Easter egg kit containing two egg-shaped doggy treats, sprinkles, icing and other healthy decorative tops for puppies. The children would then decorate their eggs with beautiful, colorful designs made especially for their fur-babies. They were also able to pet, play, hold and cuddle with our adorable, fluffy rabbits.

Our team absolutely loved seeing the attention and care that was placed in each decoration design. We at Petland are happy knowing there was a special puppy in mind as the children decorated their yummy egg treats!

Although puppies can’t eat the foods most people eat during holiday celebrations (no chocolate bunnies, for example!), we still try to have our snuggly furballs participate in the fun through healthy and safe alternatives.

We’re more than ecstatic that many children and their families felt the same way this Easter, and will have many new memories to look back on!

We certainly cannot wait to do this activity again next year! Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
