On Saturday, October 13, Petland Florida jumped in on the Halloween fun at The City of Pembroke Pines’ 6th Annual Bow Wow Ween.
The event took place at the Pembroke Pines K-9 Craig Rupp Dog Park, and proved to be spooktacular fun as it included countless exciting activities for not only kids and adults, but their furry friends too!
Along with lots of food, music, and games, participants were also able to show off their dog’s spookiness (or cuteness!) for prizes in the dog costume contest. Some of the contest categories included Best Family Costume, Most Original Costume, and Scariest Costume. Winners of the costume contests were presented their prizes in an awards ceremony.
Other contests included the Miss Bow Wow Ween 2018, in which the winner was crowned and given a prize basket of over $100 in value.
Many furry friends and their owners attended the event dressed as hot dogs, lady bugs, superheroes, and other fun characters. They also posed for cute pictures and played a variety of games. Pet vendors, promotional items and raffles were also available at the event.
Our Petland puppies definitely enjoyed their time at this year’s Bow Wow Ween and can’t wait to go again next year!
