Choosing the best toys for your puppy is very important. They take a great part in your puppy’s everyday life, whether you’re playing a game of fetch or he’s rolling around entertaining himself.

1. Toys to Play Tug

Ropes and rubber rings are perfect to play tug with your fur-baby! Toys made of bungee material make great tugs and are easier on your hands and put less stress on you puppy. Make sure to always play in an open area to avoid any accidents for you or your pup.

2. Toys You Can Throw

We can all agree balls are a must have when you get a puppy, it’s a great toy to keep your puppy active. There are many different styles of balls, but you should definitely stick to soft mesh rubber balls that are easier on your fur-baby. Remember to choose the appropriate size for the balls depending on your puppy.

3. Chews

Although your fur-baby will chew on other toys, there are some toys made specifically to be chewed on. These toys are soft enough to chew without causing any damage to your puppy’s teeth but durable enough to not break into pieces.

4. Squeakies

These toys are great to grab your puppy’s attention. The high-pitched noise attracts your puppy and will for sure be one of their favorite toys. Squeakies come in all types of shapes and materials.

5. Snuggle Toys

These toys are super cute, and your puppy will love to snuggle with them. These toys are great for inside play and most are washer friendly!

Some puppies may find toys more reinforcing than food when it comes to training. As you play with your puppy you will learn his preferences in toys and eventually see him go crazy over their favorite ones.
